Ten employees of Harrison County Rural Electric Cooperative volunteered 721 hours for various community activities in 2009. Northwest Iowa Power Cooperative in LeMars (NIPCO) as your cooperative power supplier sponsors this recognition program. Together with employees from its member cooperatives, the NIPCO system reported a total of more than 5,600 hours of volunteer efforts to communities in 2009.
Employees involved in the volunteer program were Jim Andersen, Wade Andersen, Jackie Androy, Lori Barry, Shanell Dickman, Joe Farley, Jim Reisz, Dave Stevens, Robert Wakehouse, and Linda Williams.
NIPCO and its member cooperatives are Touchstone Energy cooperatives, a network of local, customer-owned utilities across the country.
