Harrison County Rural Electric Cooperative offered the Prairie Winds energy program beginning January 2001. It allows member/consumers the opportunity to contribute in the development of alternate energy production facilities. You will not be purchasing alternate energy directly, but you will be a part of the development of resources, such as wind energy, biomass, solar and others.

Prairie Winds Power Agreement
Specify the total number of 100 kilowatt hour blocks you wish to purchase @ $.40 each per month. Remember, each block is an additional $.40 investment in not only the environment, but in the future of renewable energy.
