Located off of county highway F32, between Woodbine and Panama, Grandpas Pumpkin Farm was opened in 2016 by the Schwery family. Grandpa's Pumpkin Farm is situated on their family farm that overlooks a beautiful farm pond where guests can enjoy fall family fun. It all started with an idea from Justin and his wife Christina. A pumpkin patch they used to favorite closed and they jokingly said they would open a patch of their own. Shortly after, their quick idea became a reality with the help of Justin's parents, Doug and Tresa. In addition to the pumpkin farm, the Schwerys also attend various farmers markets and town celebrations selling kettle corn and fresh lemonade.
Today, Grandpas Pumpkin Farm is home to much more than good, old-fashioned pumpkin picking. They offer hayrack rides, a trip through their corn maze, sponsored this year by Titan Machinery, the barn and silo play ground, an indoor corn pool, pumpkin bowling, mini zipline, pumpkin painting and much more. In 2018, the farm had approximately 3,000 visitors. In addition, guests can shop at Grandpas Pumpkin Farm for tasty treats at the concession stand or find local handmade crafts at Grandma's Gift Barn! Guests can purchase tickets to Grandpa's Pumpkin Farm online or at the farm with a single pass for $8.00 or an individual season pass for $16.00. Grandpa's Pumpkin Farm is open from September 15th through October 27th on Saturday's from 10am to 6pm and Sunday's from 10am to 6pm. The farm is open to groups and field trips during the week by appointment. Want to learn more?
