HCREC members participated in Democratic Member Control, one of the seven cooperative principles, to elect their representatives on the board of directors. This year districts five, six, and seven were up for election. The candidates included:
District 5: Lance Bromert, Randy Mitchell
District 6: Kent Kersten, Boone McIntosh
District 7: Randy Koenig, Laura Soetmelk
Members could vote for their directors by mail in ballot or in person in the REC lobby on Wednesday April 19th. The election was overseen by Dennis Puckett from Sullivan and Ward along with three officers of election from the membership.
