The countdown is on! Get ready to celebrate Harrison County REC at our annual Power

Picnic on August 11th from 4pm to 7pm! Join us for an evening filled with great food, family-friendly activities, and an abundance of prizes as we gather to recognize and thank our members for their continued support.

This year’s picnic supper, expertly prepared by Staley’s Catering, will feature a grilled steak sandwich with a special kids meal serving a grilled hotdog. All accompanied by a selection of traditional picnic sides sure to please every palate. As you enjoy the festive atmosphere, be sure to explore a variety of engaging activities for all ages—including an inflatable slide and obstacle course, temporary tattoos featuring Willie Wiredhand, freshly popped popcorn, and more. Local organizations from across Harrison County will also be on hand, showcasing valuable resources and services available to our members.

For those feeling lucky, our prize lineup is bigger than ever. The grand prize is a Pit Boss pellet smoker paired with a premium meat package from Pitt Farms, ensuring the winner is fully equipped for their next backyard feast. Additional prizes include a smart home package powered by Amazon Alexa and an Apple iPad bundled with Apple AirPods. “Mini Members” won’t be left out either; the “Where’s Willie Scavenger Hunt” promises fun and rewarding challenges with fantastic prizes like an inflatable triple water slide and an electric bike.
